1. Products & pricing — we describe our products as accurately as we can; slight variation in color/finish can occur on screen. Prices and availability can change without notice. We may limit or cancel quantities or orders (including suspected reseller/fraud orders) and will refund if we cancel a paid order.
2. Orders — your order is an offer to buy; our confirmation isn't acceptance until we ship. We may correct pricing/description errors and cancel affected orders.
3. Product use — Common Matter No. 01 is a cosmetic hair-styling product for external use only. Follow label directions and warnings; discontinue use if irritation occurs. It is not a drug and makes no medical, hair-growth, or scalp-treatment claims.
4. Intellectual property — the Common Matter name, logo, label design, copy, and images are our property and may not be used without permission.
5. User content — if you post reviews or submit content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it in connection with the brand; you're responsible for what you submit.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability — the store and products are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law; we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
7. Governing law — these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
